Srushti Deshmukh is beginning to prepare for the UPSC entry in her 3rd year in engineering. As she was finishing her last year of engineering, Deshmukh was unsure if she could be interested in working in engineering. In the following years, she realized that her passion was in civil service and decided to pursue this. Parents insisted that she study for civils and make it a profession serving the public. She focused her energy on being an IAS officer. The work required to become an IAS officer is more. As she studied in her engineering courses and other classes, she also used to work on different subjects for UPSC. Everyday, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. She mastered the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months, avoiding social life. She believes that focusing solely on what needs to be done is the key to passing the exam. She set out to make it through the test with ease, and she was able to put in a lot of work. Everyday, she was reading the paper to stay updated with the current news. It is in libraries in all the Indian states. It is an excellent book to IAS hopefuls who prepare rigorously to take the exam.
