Yael stone, a New York City Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Since her early years, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of the stage and visionaries behind the scenes in films, television and theatre. Yael's career is rich in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has made New York City her home in the wake of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. Working from a studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as innovative, creative exploits.
